The carb has the housing and air box attached. However, there’s an Airworthiness Directive out on the carb that has you change the throat box and this one doesn’t have it.

The first photo shows it mounted on the engine.

Found this on Ebay for $20.  Doesn’t look like much but it’s important. Circled in red below New is $95.

Found a Marvel MA-4-5 carb for the Franklin engine. 

Clear prop!  A used, but in great shape, and hard to find, McCauley model 1A170-DM.

The left side panel was modified to hold a more modern radio in 1960 something.  The panel was cut to fit the radio.

Lots of work left but it’s not as bad as it looks. 

This fuel valve switches between the left and right wing tank. They are very expensive to replace but they can be overhauled. This valve does not work properly but I hope to overhaul it and make it work.
