Figuring out the style of foam for the seats.  Where I work has a complete upholstery shop that makes aircraft seats and has all types of foam combinations.  Top layer soft, bottom layer more dense.  I think I will go with two layers of dense foam then a 1″ top of less dense foam pad.

Cutting and fitting the new door panels.  These will have fabric added later.  I still need to cut the holes for the door handle and lock.

A busy day with yard work and errands but I did get some airplane time in. Working on the fabric stand offs. Some needed to be replaced.  So I installed the stand offs, the baggage area, and the baggage door.

I created a two animated GIF file of the Stinson about a month apart.  You can see the progress from the two photos.  I really need a tail wheel.

The original door panels held up to the door. They will make great patterns for the new panels.   

I received two door mechanisms and handles for the doors.  One isn’t right so I’ll send it back for replacement, but it’s nice to have some now!

Seat brackets are just put in place to make sure I have the correct hardware to get them installed.  They are off to paint right now.  I won’t install them until the cables are installed in the floor.

After I installed the seats I had to take a selfie of me sitting in the pilot’s seat.  First time anyone has sat here since 1967 I’m guessing.
