Cleaned up and painted the battery box lid and cut new wood strips. Looks pretty good. Fits great. 

First time on a tail wheel since 1967 or so. 

It’s sitting at home in the box and I won’t be able to unwrap until I get home later this week. It’s like Christmas again. 

After cleaning

Cleaning up the wing strut attachments. Here are some before photos. Forgot to take after photos so will take some soon.

Before and after photos of the Horizontal Stabilizer Outer Hinges. They cleaned up well and turn nicely now.
