The restoration of a 1947 Stinson Station Wagon owned by our grandfather, Fritz Womack.

A Little Bit of Everything

Wheels, wingtip lights, and fabric strips.

The wheels came back from paint today. They look really good.

I may have to change the tubes as the stem isn’t in a good place. It should angle out towards the front.

I wired the wingtip light.

Checked the wiring. The lens cover is red I just didn’t install it when I took the photo.

I cut new fabric hold down strips.

Cut my strips using the old as a pattern.

Everything looking good and moving right along, must be getting to be fun to work on by now huh? Who’s Bonanza, looks like a fresh paint job from what I’m looking at?
