Patch weld complete.  Ed is the best welder around and has built many home-built airplanes.  He’s a former Southwest pilot and Midwest Airlines pilot and has raced at Reno.

In the process of cleaning this up. 

Brakes are off and gear are media blasted. Now on to NDT then primed.

Media blasting finished.  Brass bushings will be polished.  NDT and then primer to protect them until ready for paint.

The brake cylinders are corroded badly enough they will need to be replaced. Add $2,552.00 to the final bill for a set of new Cleveland brakes.  Will try to find some used Goodyear brakes for less.

Taking the landing gear into the shop for some NDT to see if there are any unseen cracks.

Received the wire in the mail today for wiring up the instrument panel lights!  

26L for the left side of the panel and 25R for the right side.

I’ve sent these and the control column off for powder coating.
