Had to make two bushings/spacers for the inside aileron bolt.


Ran the engine to check oil pressure and temperature, as well as checking the mags and the mixture control.

After 56 years, give or take a year, the engine in the Stinson is up and running. A pretty exciting day.



Pushed it out to turn over the engine to make sure I have everything hooked up and ready.
I need to connect the mixture control befor actually starting it. We ran out of time due to some bad weather moving in.

Ran out of time today. Would have liked to hit the starter button, but slow and easy is the best way to go.







Getting the exhaust installed.

After this, I will purchase a battery and then attempt the first start of the engine.
It warmed up to 40 today so a trip to the hangar was in order. We began installing the Airwolf remote oil filter today. All went well except for the last oil line fitting. I need to change one of the fittings to make it work



MS35338-45 washers and 22022 brass exhaust nuts (SA22022 will work, too).
