Headliner

Worked some more in the headliner. It’s coming together, just slowly.

The photos are not in any order.

Scary, had to start making holes in the material. No room for errors.
Now to cut the holes for the light and the speaker. Then tighten up the sides.

Sunday

Working on the headliner. I made new ribs for it as I couldn’t get the originals to fit well. I also took out the front windshields to make it easier to install. We’re not finished yet, but getting closer.

Will need to mark the holes for the trim tab adjuster. It does not come down through the zipper. That’s there to allow access to the control cables.
Temporary install.
My helpers are resting.

November 11

One of the bottom cowling cups needed to be replaced, so we did that today.

We also finished with the landing light cover installation.

And we double checked the wing bolt torque and the fuel line hoses so we can finally button up the wing trim pieces.

Center punching the rivets to drill out.
Marie’s playing with the settings on her phone.
Broken cup removed. The lip was broken which wouldn’t allow the upper portion to latch properly.
The front starboard side dzus fastener was broken.
Replaced the front fastener.
Both cowl fasteners work great now.
Finishing up the landing light cover installation.
