Installed the new cuff and the fabricated oil cooler bracket this weekend.

It’s been really cold here with temps dropping into negative numbers. I did manage to build a new bracket for the oil cooler. Finishing it up by adding four nut plates to hold the cooler.

It’s supposed to warm up next week.

New one has arrived. Now to wait until my Jury Duty is over and the weather warms back up to get it installed.

The temperature was around 60 today so that means a trip to the hangar. Removed the torn air induction cuff and the cracked oil cooler bracket found during my inspection prior to installing the bottom cowling.

I ordered a new cuff (108-6222801) and will make a new bracket this week.

The plan is to install the engine cowling soon, but that won’t happen this weekend. Hopefully the next 50+ day will happen soon.

The cuff should be here by Friday. I’ll make the bracket this week.
