Putting down the stencil on a non flat surface and trying to keep it straight was not easy. I also wanted to keep the registration number off the fuel tank. I have some edges to clean up, but it doesn’t look too bad.
Now I get to start the whole painting process over on the port wing.

Got me, it was late, I didn’t think it through, Now I see what happened! I liked the one I made the judgement on, but was puzzeled by the percepted contrast! I like this one much better, it’s the way I initially envisioned it! Hope you got a good laugh, Ha! Did you paint the numbers white before the Diana Creme, or did it cover the Stinson Maroon good enough you didn’t have to?

Nope, didn’t laugh. I did not use white under the Diana Creme. The Diana Creme covered it fine I think.
