The restoration of a 1947 Stinson Station Wagon owned by our grandfather, Fritz Womack.

Flap Control Bellcrank

Putting things back together. Repaired flap guard installed along with new hardware. Yes, the nut is not tight yet.

Remember the cracks in the flap bracket? Tried to find a replacement, but didn’t have much luck finding one. The parts book does not show the guard so no part number to search by. No listing that I could find at Univair, either.

Looks complicated from here, would probably look more understandable if the whole wing was where one could figure out the mechanics involved, it would make more sense then, I’m thinking!
