Both brackets are done now. One of the guards has some cracks. I will see what a replacement will cost before I weld the ears.

I can’t picture where these are located or what they are used for, I’m sure there were some on the other wing too, but apparently they were fine. Went to the STOL contest, and the bush plane drag races in Wayne, Ne Saturday (FAA has approved this event until it may not be eventful, or whenever) it was a four day event, with lots of contestants and fly ins to enjoy the show. Unfortunately, the high winds canceled the STOL event on Sat., and the bush plane drags happened on Fri. when I wasn’t there, so was only able to see some practice flights, pretty awesome, never saw a Cessna 185 perform like that before. My actual intentions in the first place was to tell you I saw a really nice Stinson in the spectator parking. A real pretty Dianna creme tan color. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go look at it close up, that pained me somewhat, would have liked to tell you more about it, had I done so.
