Cleaning the exterior of the port fuel tank. This small project took all weekend from the first photo to the last. I did do a few other things in between.

That stuff works purrrttyy good huh? How is the tank finished off in the wing, do you cover it with covering after you get it repainted? Looks like the original paint job was exposed with the filler portion anyway, or do you just put the covering around the filler neck and leave the filler cap exposed? Full of questions huh? Just curious!

The tank is exposed, except for fabric around the edges. So no fabric over the tank. The original photo with the red paint shows where the fabric will go on the tank. Nothing around the filler.
