I brought the wings home on Sunday. It took a village, or family to get them down and load them. Well, it only took two people to actually load them but a bunch to get them down from the ceiling of the building after hanging there for 40 years.

Looks like a radial engine mount hanging there on ceiling/shelf? Somebody was exercising extreme cautious driving to leave that nut still sit there considering the distance driven. Good job, Jeff! Thanks for sending this. Is that damage at the root there, that will require some attention? Ed F.

The truck was a really smooth rider so the nut stayed in place. No damage. They look great under the 50 years of dirt and grime.

The engine mount was probably off an N3N-3 or a Cessna Bamboo Bomber. Could be from a BT-13 or BT-15 also. They had all kinds of round engine airplanes at the farm.
