Wings

I brought the wings home on Sunday. It took a village, or family to get them down and load them. Well, it only took two people to actually load them but a bunch to get them down from the ceiling of the building after hanging there for 40 years.

Where they hung for 40 years. Inside and dry.
Gone now.
Loaded in the truck. A huge thank you to everyone in the photo! The pizza was just a small token of our appreciation for all the help.
Everyone who helped. It was beginning to rain heavily at this point!
L to R Doug Womack, Lloyd Womack, Steve Womack, Bill Murray (behind Steve), Joe Murray, Marie King, Annette Womack, Anita (Womack) Rowe, Dave and Marcia Roos, Shane Womack. Lloyd’s girlfriend Tina is not pictured.
Made it safely home. The wings didn’t move at all in the trailer.
It was a smooth ride home. This nut stayed in place during the trip.

Updated Instrument Panel

I had some difficulty getting the circles around the instrument panel to be circles. Taping off with blue tape didn’t give me a “perfect” circle as you can see in some of my previous photos. So I designed some paint plugs to fit in snugly in the holes so I could paint them. I used my 3D printer to make enough to blank out the holes. I think it looks much better.
