Early on I decided to place the antennas on the bottom panel between the landing gear. I have seen them on top above the cabin, but decided I didn’t like the location. The downsides are dragging them on the grass if landing on a grass strip and some interference from the gear covers. However, I don’t think it’ll be a problem. I can hear Lincoln Ground, Tower, and Lincoln approach as well as other aircraft while it’s in my garage with the door closed and that’s 12 miles away. A radio check with Lincoln Tower shows I can communicate with them just fine with the garage door open.
The center antenna with the new doubler installed. First few photos are showing the installation of the doubler. 36 rivets if I counted correctly. The last two photos show the primer applied afterwards and the other bottom panel.

Looks good !
