You’re going to have to explain this one to me ! I don’t understand the white tape with what looks like grommets in it on the fabric. Anyway, you’re making progress !

The white tape covers the fabric and allows for a protective covering between the PK screws and washers that hold the fabric to the fuselage. Without the screws the fabric would pull up from the top of the fuselage during flight, due to lift. The screws get a final tape over the top which you can see in the first photo.
