I received two door mechanisms and handles for the doors. One isn’t right so I’ll send it back for replacement, but it’s nice to have some now!

Seat brackets are just put in place to make sure I have the correct hardware to get them installed. They are off to paint right now. I won’t install them until the cables are installed in the floor.

After I installed the seats I had to take a selfie of me sitting in the pilot’s seat. First time anyone has sat here since 1967 I’m guessing.

UPDATE: I talked to my welder (Ed Bowes) and he said it would be no problem to fix the welds so that’s what I will do. JLK
Bad news for the engine mount. Several cracks emerged during the NDT inspection. I can either have the mount re-welded or get a new engine mount.
The bright green lines are cracks in the weld. There are several and I only posted four.

Checking the rudder to make sure the bearings are free and the new bolts fit.

I needed to check and see what I was missing for installing the door windows. Just needs new plexiglass and some hardware.
