Left side old and new.  The old one had a cutout for the battery. The battery will be moved to the firewall. 

No going back now. This glue is permanent. 

First piece glued and on to the next. These pieces hold the bottom edges of the side rear panels.

I received the new plywood for the main floor panels. Using the old pieces for a pattern, I cut the new ones. The photos show them installed for fitting before sanding and clear coat is applied. 

The new firewall cover arrived. Looks and fits nicely. Need to cut holes for cables and wires. 

Left one is poplar and the right one is the refinished original mahogany wood. 

thinking about keeping the front floor boards. I cleaned them up some and they are starting to look good. I will do more sanding before making a decision.
