Several layers of paint. The top coat was red and cream while underneath that was brown and cream. Then under the brown and cream was another red and cream. The finally the blue and cream with the green primer under that coat. It took a lot of stripper and sanding to get it off. Still not completely finished but I’m done for the night.

OMG! I had no idea there was that many coats of paint. I think I told you before, I read somewhere, that this model came off the manufacture line in blue w/cream. All I can remember is the red, but that’s been a long time ago. Too many years, as I usually say ” A lot of water under the bridge since then” HA! HA!
Don’t get discouraged, hang in there.

So far the brown paint has only been on this passenger door. The other door was just two coats of red and cream. So I hope this is all the brown I will see!
